Hello I am trying to add a MX-record so my gmail is set up with my domain. But I am getting this message saying: DNS record changes are restricted for this domain. Please contact support for assistance.

It only happens when I try to change or add a new MX-record.

You have to check your domain provider if there is restriction. If the issue persist, I would contact the domain provider

I have bought the domain on Shopify, so Shopify should be the domain provider right? I have contacted the support but they weren't able to help me with it
