DNS TXT Record Not Updating In Shopify

In Settings in Shopify, I added a custom TXT record: openai-domain-verification=dv-ygj5QnX7zs9GzxyiJ0vtOmlS (i.e., TXT value) and name: esprovivo.com. Note that there is an existing TXT record with the name: _provider, and value: shopify there. However, when I go to verify with OpenAI, I keep getting an error message:

"Your domain could not be verified. Make sure you've correctly set the TXT record above. DNS records may take up to 30 minutes to propagate."

I have waited more than 1 day. I also tried to check under: https://mxtoolbox.com/SuperTool.aspx?action=txt%3aesprovivo.com&run=toolpage

However, it looks like it is still not updating there either. Please help!

Thanks!

Hi @rayizam,

That helps a lot!

In your TXT record, you need set the name to @ instead of esprovivo.com, similar to how the MX record is set.

Give that a try and let us know how you go.

Hi @rayizam

The TXT DNS record isn't working. There may be an issue with how it's been added in the DNS settings. Are you able to give us a screenshot of the settings?

I am experiencing a problem with my one.com domain. But when I try to add "@" as a prefix, I receive an error message stating that leaving the field empty is equivalent to using "@" as a prefix. As a result, it will not appear in the list of records with a username. Do you have any suggestions on how I can resolve this issue?

Hi @mrdaka,

I'll be happy to take a look at it, but you need to let me know the domain name, the problem you are having, and provide a screenshot of your DNS settings.
