Do I need an active store to use Shopify Partners?

Does my store have to be active for me to use Shopify Partners or do I have to keep it active? 

I no longer need Shopify and just need to access Partners so I can send collabs.

Thank you for reaching out to the Community! If you'd like to become a Shopify Partner, you can certainly join through our Partners Page. This will provide you with the ability to offer your services and earn a monthly revenue as opposed to having an active Shopify subscription.
