Do I need to use EANS as a vintage seller?

I sell vintage football shirts, mostly from nike and Adidas, which originally had a GTIN/EAN of course, but now that they are vintage/ second-hand, do you still need to use that code? How does this work? I also have no idea where to find that code since its second-hand.
