Do SKU changes get updated automatically from DSers/AliExpress?

I imported products from AliExpress, edited them in DSers, and then pushed to Shopify. I get notifications that SKUs have changed in AliExpress. Are those automatically pushed to Shopify? I did some customizations on the products in Shopify and I don't want to lose them by repushing or something.

Hi @shopgirl3 ,

That is a great question!

Most of the product information should be synced and updated automatically when using such apps. I have found in their help centre that DSers will push changes regarding SKU updates every 24 hours. You can learn more about it here

However, considering DSers is a third-party app, we can’t be certain that this is the case with SKU codes as well. The best course of action would be to get in touch with the DSers Support team. You can reach out to them via email support@dserspro.com

By the way, how are things on the rest of your website going? Just so you know, we are not only here to help with technical queries, but also to help you grow your business. If you need any marketing advice or how to get more traffic or sales to your store, let me know!

Hi Iris

thank you for your help!

But your screenshot from Dsers looks different than mine. I guess that the difference is because you are not using the free plan on Dsers.

Do you know if they update the SKU even in the free plan? If not, Do you know what I should do?

Hi @sivancohen ,

The screenshot I shared above is from DSers guide about the notifications. You can find the guide on this link and have a read-through. It does state that DSers makes changes/updates on Shopify once every 24h. From my experience with other dropshipping apps, this feature should be available on all plans.

However, it seems like their pricing page state that the free plan offers notifications when there is a change within the inventory, while other plans have an automatic update. Therefore, I am unsure if this Inventory Management section will include changes made to SKU codes specifically. For this reason, this information with the DSers Support team via email support@dserspro.com.

Hi,

Did you get the answer to your question because I'm asking myself the exact same question.

I imported a product on shopify via dsers and now I see the message "SKU change on Aliexpress"

What should I do in this case.

Thanks.

Hi @Mika13

I still didn't find an easy solution but I delete completely the product and then rise again.

I hope that soon I will have enough orders to buy Dsers better plan.

Until then, if u find any solution keep me update!

If I'm not mistaken once you're on the Dsers website you just got to your notifications click the product then click the product to remap and map the product with the variations that you are selling hope this helps!

Hi @A-Fello

I am having this SKU issue, and am confused as to how to remap the product with the variations. I am given the options Basic, Standard, Advanced, BOGO, and Bundle. But have no idea what to do under each section. Can you possibly give me a step by step of what to do after selecting the product to remap?

So me personally I prefer basic since its easier to understand:
From right to left
you will see additional products which is where your original item is if you had premium you could add more than two but the free version just 2
So you can copy and paste alike into the alternate products sections and import in case of out of stock or anything like that.

At the Default Ali Product you see the original product from Aliexpress and what you do is match the variants with what's on your store so if I had 2 colors I would match what's on aliexpress with the varients I made on my Shopify store.  Sometimes Ali has multiple variants

so you'd match all of those and press Save at the bottom right corner and it should be complete. If you need more help feel free to ask!

In this case, the SKU for the second variant of my product (from an other supplier) will not work, it's the good sku but the stock i see on shopify is 0. Do you know how to fix it?
