Does Shopify payment accept USA bank accounts with ACH and routing numbers?

If your store is based in the US, you'll need to make sure that your bank account meets the following requirements before connecting it to Shopify Payments US on your store:

• The account is a full checking account.
• The account must be with a physical bank in the United states, and in USD currency.
• The account can accept electronic bank transfers, and for the United States it must specifically be eligible for ACH transfers.

Can I connect to Shopify payments with US business bank account? I mean not US personal Bank Account but Business account.

You should be ok to also use a business bank account. As long as it meets all of the requirements I mentioned initially, the bank account will be supportable for Shopify Payments US.

Hi Kimi,

I'm looking for a solution for Shopify Payments to offer customers ACH as a payment method ( Not merchant payout method ).
After some research, I found out in order to do that, I have to add a manual payment method that leads to a separate ACH payment link.

The flow that works for me now is that a customer places the order with manual payment method → see the payment link after the order is placed → The customer makes the payment through Stripe ACH Direct Payment Link

My questions are

1. Is that the only way for Shopify payments to accept ACH payment? Can we have a Stripe popup window integrated in Shopify payments when they place the order?
2. It looks like even though the customer made the payment successfully with Strip ACH direct payment. Shopify order still displays as Payment pending. Is manually Mark as paid the only way to fulfill the order?
