Hi is there any way to get the domain to work with www ? and if someone can tell me why it doesn't work on mobile ? thank you
Hi @jerome854 ,
I understand that you are having an issue with your www domain not loading properly.
Most times this is an issue caused by incorrect DNS information in the domain host. Regardless of if the domain is hosted by a third party or by Shopify directly, you will want to make sure that your domain has both of these DNS settings:
If the issue is only with the WWW form of your website URL then most likely the issue is an incorrect or missing CNAME record. Feel free to share a screenshot of your current DNS settings if you are unsure what to change. Please note, once changed it can take a full 48 hours for the DNS information to be live.
Also, you can share your full domain link so we can check the current DNS record setup.

Hi @CesarXclusiv ,
Thanks for reaching out. I’m sorry to hear you’re having issues with your domain. I’d be happy to help as much as I can. As mentioned above, please ensure that your domain has both of these DNS settings:
If this is the case and the issue persists, feel free to share your domain link and I’ll be happy to look into it further.

Hi @Iris , I am having similar issue. My store URL is store.juniorgurukul.com. It works with https://store.juniorgurukul.com/ but not with https://www.store.juniorgurukul.com/. My DNS entries are like the following:
CNAME www 0 website.com 14400 <--Main Website
A store 0 23.227.38.65 14400 <-- Shopify Store, this works
CNAME www.store 0 shops.myshopify.com 300 <-- Is this the correct entry??
Hi Iris,
I have the same problem here is my website https://www.bendersbakery.com/
And here my DNS Settings in squarespace.
Hi there, @BendersBakery. Thanks for taking the time to reach out on this thread! I quickly did a test of 'www.bendersbakery.com' to see if your page would load for me, and it did without issue! The only thing I notice is that the domain changes from 'www.bendersbakery.com' to 'bendersbakery.com' once the page finishes loading. Is this the issue you're trying to address?
If your domain is hosted by a third party, it would be wise to a make sure that you consult with your domain host around why your domain registered with them doesn't appear to be working as expected. Based on your screenshot, your CNAME appears to be pointed to the right place (shops.myshopify.com), as does your A record. If you made these changes within the last 48 hours, allow those full 48 hours to past and then test if your 'www.bendersbakery.com' domain is working. If it's not, we recommend contacting your domain host to see what they suggest to you! Let us know if they direct back to us here!

I am also having the same exact problem. My google domain got transfer over to squarespace and I am having problem accessing my domain when adding www. to the website domain. Connection problem net::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID. Have you figure out how to fix this problem?
www. .com normally uses encryption to protect your information. When Chrome tried to connect to www. .com this time, the website sent back unusual and incorrect credentials. This may happen when an attacker is trying to pretend to be www. .com, or a Wi-Fi sign-in screen has interrupted the connection. Your information is still secure because Chrome stopped the connection before any data was exchanged.
You cannot visit www. .com right now because the website uses HSTS. Network errors and attacks.
I am having problems with mine as well. notouchingapparel.com
