Domain purchased but now its not showing nor is it available to be selected in my domain list

I just went through the process of buying a new domain name through Shopify however once it completed and I got charged, the window closed and nothing happened. Now when I go to connect the domain I purchased it states that 'A store with that name already exists'

There is no place to add the newly purchased domain and I am stuck going in circles trying to get it added. Please help!

@CoryLeyba had you downloaded the receipt of the paid payment of the domain or do you have any proof regarding to bought the domain? Then try to contact with the  shopify support cell
