All things Shopify and commerce
I would love to connect my custom domain to ZOHO or G SUITE but I cannot edit my dns. Anyone else had this problem? I bought my domain using Shopify.
How do I edit the DNS settings?
Just letting you know the info on this page: https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/domains/managing-domains/edit-dns-settings was not very helpful
They give you this steps. But there is literally no Domain settings or Edit DNS settings button to be found at Settings > domains. Also not when I click on a domain.
Hopefully you can help
Hey there,
Let's see if we can troubleshoot this issue for you. Here's a step-by-step:
1. If you purchased and set-up your domain through Shopify, it will be listed under Settings > Domains.
2. You should see the domain, with a blue icon and "Primary for Online Store" underneath it.
3. Hover over the domain and click to get into the Domain Settings page.
4. From there, you can select Domain Settings in the top-right and it'll produce a drop-down menu that will have Edit DNS settings at the top.
If you can't replicate these steps, can you let me know where it appears differently for you? I'll keep an eye out for your response.

I'm having the same issue. When I hover over the domain, nothing happens.
Hi @lindsaygoff,
It could be possible that your browser either needs an update, or the cache cleared.
If your browser version is up-to-date, can I get you to try from a different browser entirely? Let's see if that resolves the issue for you.

This is what I have done, how did you resolve this please?
Hello, I am having the same issue with domain setting options not showing up? I have cleared my cache and tried other browsers and it is still now coming up. I need to change MX records so my email will work.
Yes same problem here.. How did any of you solve it? I also tried it in different/new version browsers but that does not help.
It’s not working
same issue for me, any update ?
Hey, @lahcen2024.
Thank you for joining the thread.
You can edit the DNS directly from the Shopify admin. However, if the domain was purchased on a different store, then you can log into that account to manage the DNS. If you no longer have access to the account or you're still not seeing the option to edit the DNS, then it looks like we'll need to access your account in order to resolve the issue. While we're unable to provide account-specific support via the Shopify Community, we'd be happy to assist you through live chats. Simply visit the Shopify Help Center and login to your account to create a support request.
If you have any other questions on this topic, then don't hesitate to let us know.
