All things Shopify and commerce
Hopefully someone can help. We have a store that carries multiple core products and other products at go with the core products.
Here is our issue. We use Bundle Apps. Every time we create a new product and variants for that product, we have to go in manually on their back end and bundle multiple variants (36-45) at a time. It is very time consuming. I understand for inventory purposes we need to go in the back end and bundle the product variant with product to insure that inventories are correct.
What I am need is to cut the process down in half. In an ideal world, we would be able to duplicate a product that already shares the same variants and core inventory to those variants so when we create the new product, all the inventory is bundled. Then we could go in and add the second product in mass to all variants of the duplicated product, so that inventory is up to date.
Heres the example:
Core products are hats. secondary products are stickers. Certain style stickers go on the same hats every time. We need to be able to duplicate the product that has the hats bundled in inventory.
We would then change the title name of the product. Go in and add the sticker bundle to the already inventoried hat bundle by selecting all variants that are bundled and the sticker bundle, then click create. This way we are not having to go into a back end somewhere and do this one by one and will free up hours of time and will get our products to our customers faster.
Hopefully someone can help.
Thanks
Hi @lshmm,
To better assist you, I want to know more details about your situation. Could you please provide additional information on the following:
Is there a distinct inventory for both hats and stickers, or are they managed together?
Are your recent additions to the product lineup primarily stickers or hats?
Do hats and stickers each have their unique variations, excluding bundled variants?
Understanding these aspects will help me offer more tailored solutions to address your concerns effectively.
