All things Shopify and commerce
As I can't get a sensible answer from seller support, can someone from Shopify please confirm how Shopify Capital repayments will now work as you've scrapped the eBay integration.
Previously my repayment was 10% of combined Shopify and eBay sales, which was fine. Now *you've made me* switch away from your in built eBay integration to a third party app, my repayments are 10% of my Shopify sales alone.
Looking at my calendar YTD figures, I'd have repaid 14% so far this year. So in other words it'll be taking more than 6 years to repay this, as opposed to 6-8 months with eBay sales included.
This is not the deal I signed up for, @Shopify you need to address this.

To follow up, just had this amazing response from seller support;
"I have reached out to the Capital team and they have confirmed what I mentioned in our chat previously. They mention that the remittance rate cannot be changed and you are bound to abide by what has been signed in your Shopify Capital agreement. Any sales made outside of your Shopify store/Shopify Payments, we don't have access too."
This system work by Shopify essentially buying a percentage of my future sales. Why would they want it to take six years as opposed to 6-8 months for them to get their money back? There's no interest on it, they are literally making themselves worse off and I'm screaming "For Gods sake, take my money"...
Does anyone have a phone number or email for someone senior in the UK?
@Shopify sort this mess out.
