Edit to meta Title and description not updating

Hi! I edited my meta title and description and the old one is still showing up.  I am a newbie and am not viewing this through google.  I'm just sending it to friends on Facebook messenger and the image that fills in on those messages contains the old title and description.  Help?

it might take Google up to days or weeks before you see the changes in SERP (search engine result page) or when sharing the site with your friends on messenger.

To speed up it, I recommend submitting your site for recrawl in Google Search Console. If you need further assistance with it, feel free to write to me.
