All things Shopify and commerce
Currently using Pify Form Builder App as a way to create custom order forms for our collection of fully custom products. We embedded the form into the "Order Status Page" section on Checkout Settings, so someone can only fill out the customization form once they've placed the order. Being that we also sell other goods, is there a way to edit the embedded code so that the form only shows up for a certain product/collection?
For example, if someone checks out with a shirt, they form will not appear, but if someone places an order for the customizable product/collection, the form will appear (after the payment page of the checkout process).
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
Hi, @trackbike333!
Rio here from the Shopify Community Team.
This is a great question. However, instead of editing the order status page have you thought about using a product options app? These apps would allow you to have a custom form on specific products. That way when someone adds a specific product to the cart they can fill out a form on the product page. I've linked some apps below that allow you to do this:
This would be an easier solution and not require custom code. Take a look into these apps and let me know if they'd work for your use case.
Is there a specific reason you want it to happen after the checkout process?
Looking forward to your reply.

We are a manufacturing company, and there is a lot of information we need from a customer (selecting from image options, lots of measurements, picking paint/component options, etc.). We have looked into product option apps, but they don't perform the way that we need. We are content with our current style using forms.
Hi, @trackbike3331!
Thank you for the quick reply. That makes sense you want to keep the current system.
If you have a developer or someone on your team familiar with code you can follow this guide. It will allow you to customize the order page based on the order line items. You can show your embedded form only when the checkout line items are met.
Hope that helps!
