Email sandboxing

Hi, we have a staging store for a Shopify client, and we were wondering if it's possible to sandbox any transactional emails that are to be delivered to customers, or at the very least, maybe programmatically change the recipient email so that it's sent to one of our email addresses instead.

So for instance, on the staging site, if I trigger a customer password reset email to be sent, I want that email to be either be sandboxed or rerouted to another email address.

Is this possible, either out-of-the-box or by using a third-party app?
