Enable Custom URL Slugs for Regional Variations in Adapted Markets

Our site's default language is English, so when creating a product or collection, I enter the default slug.

Changing this slug for the French market works perfectly as expected. However, it's currently not possible to create a specific slug for American English using the Translate and Adapt app, or any other variation of English. The same issue applies to other languages with country-specific adaptations.

For example:

• site/collections/womens-pyjamas (default)
• site/en-us/collections/womens-pyjamas (US)

From an SEO perspective, the second URL should be .../womens-pajamas, as that's the American spelling.

Are there any plans to address this functionality gap or am I missing how to solve this?

Not Possible with Shopify Admin default features.
