Error uploading images for products even it's less than 20MB AND a message keep showing up it's more than 20MB but it's just 12MB .
What should i do guys?
Hello,
One limit I've run into is with images that are under 20mb but where the dimensions are too large. Shopify supports images of up to 4472px x 4472px. If either the height or width of the image is greater than 4472 you'll need to resize it before uploading.
For some other requirements, like supported formats, this might be helpful https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/products/product-media/product-media-types#images
Best,
Daniel
Can you confirm if the error is for the MB (megabytes) or MP (megapixels), there are two measurements for images that need to be met before it is suitable to upload.
The megapixel is the dimensions of the image, not the file size. You can read more about media file formats and recommended image sizes in our Help Center here: Product media types · Shopify Help Center.
