All things Shopify and commerce
I am getting this error on every one of my listings. I recently had a company connect a new domain, however, the second error message about a suspended account has been there for almost 6 months and I can't seem to figure out why. I watched a YouTube video about GTIN (I am inexperienced, I think that is what it's called) and tried to follow it, but I don't think I did it right. I think a lot of it comes from barcodes, which I do not have. Can anyone help?

Hello @HogNationSales,
It sounds like you’re running into a couple of issues with your listings after connecting your new domain. Here are a few quick pointers that might help clear things up:
Domain Verification: Make sure your new domain is verified in Google Merchant Center (under Business Information → Website). If it isn’t, that could trigger listing errors.
Suspended Account: Check the Policy Center in your Merchant Center for details on why your account’s been suspended. Often, it’s due to policy or product identifier issues.
GTIN/Barcode Confusion: If your products don’t have barcodes (GTINs), you need to let Google know. In your Google Merchant settings for each product, set “Identifier Exists” to false. This tells Google not to expect a GTIN, which might be the root of the error.
If you’ve double-checked these and the issue persists, you might need to reach out directly to Google Merchant Center support for more insight. Hope this helps clear things up! Let me know how it goes.
