Everything except the header and footer has disappeared. Please help.

Hello All,

We have a newly developed issue with our website.  All was working correctly today, taking sales, no problem.  This evening everything apart from the header and footer has disappeared.  The complete page looks to load initially then it all disappears.  From what I can see this is for every page.

I did uninstall an app earlier today which was ProtectMyOrder.  This is the only change I have made today.  The website could have been like this for the past 7 hours.

I have re-installed the app to see if this solves the issue but so far no joy.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Website is www.advancedacoustics-uk.com

Weird thing is that all my back-ups do the same thing....

Hi @shaunsnaith 

Are you using any app related to sitemap? That app caused the issue, I tried blocking js of that app from your store on my browser, and everything is working well.

Hi thanks for the reply.  I’m using site map from Google. Should I just uninstall it or do I need to edit code?

Went ahead and deleted the app. Seems to have done the trick. Thanks for your help. Greatly appreciated. Wonder why it caused an issue now. It’s been installed since 2020.

You can contact support of that app to complaint about this issue so they can try to solve it for you.

Thanks Dan,

That app is no longer supported or listed in shopify apps so i guess it's redundant.  My only other question is do I really need to install a replacement or will everything get indexed onto google without it?
