All things Shopify and commerce
Is anyone else seeing a change in their capital offers from Shopify? I have always received offers no later than a day or so after paying off a previous loan. I've been waiting weeks now after actually paying a little early. Whats going on with this? Anyone else having a similar issue? This has become a great tool for my business, its actually hurting a bit not having access to it.
Hi, @Bigfan76.
Thank you for reaching out!
Have you checked your settings > capital or in Finances > Capital in your admin? Your capital offer could be there or you may have recevied it via email, please check your spam folder as well.
Please let me know if you have any further questions! I would love to learn more about your business. What type of products do you sell?

Emily,
Thank you for replying...I have checked all areas where the capital information is available and I have not received any new offers. I've also looked through my email (both inbox and spam), and I'm confident I am not overlooking anything. Its very strange that I'm still waiting
I received an offer for $32k and now I go to sign up and it's down to $23K that is wrong and when people rely on this funding because it helps its wrong especially when I have had over 75k and paid all off. Please advise ?
Yep! I have taken 5 offers out in the past and was always offered a new one before my previous one ended. I have paid off my last offer, and it's been months and no new offer. They have since launched the Shopify Credit and I keep being told I am not being offered that either. It does hurt a huge bit when you get used to having access to additional funds to make equipment upgrades and build inventory and it just comes to a halt.
100% - Thanks for commenting Chandler19. It would be great if someone from Shopify would offer some insights on this rather than the standard response I've now gotten three times from three different people within Shopify. The response Emily provided in this thread is the same response I've received now three times. I appreciate the detailed instructions on the various ways to check for offers, the problem is the offers have completely dried. It looks like Im not the only person this is happening to. So, if anyone at Shopify is reading this...could you offer some insight on what has changed? If the lending standards have changed and its harder to get approved, just let people know that....we need actionable information - e.g. what do we need to do, or how does our store need to perform to become eligible again. Come on, surely you guys remember what it was like when you are a small start up business.
Same here. Paid off in September. Probably my 10th loan in a row. No new offers.
Thanks for adding your comments - There is obviously a cut back on available capital
I'm pretty sure they're trying to convert people to Shopify Credit. No new capital offer but I do have a Shopify Credit offer which I'm not really interested in.
Same here! First they changed their payoff requirement to be at 50% in order to receive new offers, so I was super excited to get another one to stock up for the holidays. Now I'm at 80% and nothing is happening. I saw a few responses in the past from Shopify admins to contact support so they can forward requests to Shopify Capital team, but when I do, they just tell me this standard response, which to me translates to "don't call us, we'll call you." Very disappointing!
I finally got offered one maybe a week or so after I was paid in full.
That’s great news! Gives me hope 🤞
We had the same thing. 4 rounds then nothing, Our story has only improved too, which should make eligibility better. I am assuming it’s less about us as merchants and more about the general economy in the next 12 months
Did you end up getting an offer?
The only bad thing with PayPal is that you have to pay the same amount weekly, no matter what your sales are. Just in case that matters to you. I have also tried Onramp. That’s a weekly payment based on your sales. Was a pretty easy process.
