Experiencing issues with product search visibility in purchase orders?

Yes, and it is driving me nuts.  Almost all my products have variants and it is so hard to see them.

Based on the screenshot shown in the original post, it looks like this is an issue that you folks are experiencing when accessing the Shopify Admin via a desktop - that's helpful context to have! Are you able to outline the specific steps you're taking in order to get that window to appear? It looks like you may be working within an order summary window, but it's difficult to tell for sure!

To set some expectations for you here, we're unable to authenticate users in the Community. This means that I'm unable to dive into your account and see if I'm able to replicate this issue myself with your account information. Hi Imogen

It is products > purchase orders.  I create purchase orders from my suppliers rather than transfer so I can enter cost information.  

When in the purchase order and you go to add products this window pops up.  Most of my products have variants and it doesn't show the variants properly, would be good if the window was bigger or could be expanded.

While I wasn't able to replicate, I'd be happy to pass this feedback along to our Developers. We're always looking for ways to improve the platform and appreciate the suggestion. 

 

 

In the meantime, I'd encourage you to complete some local troubleshooting if you haven't done so already. For ease, I've gone ahead and listed a few steps below that you can attempt to see if this helps to resolve: 

 

  • Clear your Cache and Cookies.
  • Access the shop in an Incognito Tab. 
  • Try Another Device (i.e a cell phone).
  • Try using Another Broswer (i.e Safari, Chrome, or Firefox).
  • Try accessing from the Shopify Mobile App. 
  • Try Restarting your device.
  • Make sure your device is Up To Date.

 

If after attempting all of the steps outlined above, the error continues, please feel free to connect with us directly. This will allow for our support team to take a closer look as we don't have access to any account information through the Community.
