Please can you stop messing around with the search bar in our products. We use this every single day, multiple times a day. First you hide it behind a click. Now you have it with this new 'in: All' word that STAYS on the search bar to the RIGHT of whatever you are typing. It is very visually distracting, especially for people with visual challenges.

 

This is unnecessary. You have the header bar above there where you can put a list of all the filters of what you are searching. I honestly can't believe that you test any of these things prior to release. 

 

PLEASE REMOVE THE 'in: All' WORDS FROM THE SEARCH BAR.

Yes!!  These small 'enhancements' that are being made to the products area do not help our productivity.  This small change makes us have to go and click 3-4-5-6 times to clear it out or try to enter something that is not messed up by the 'in:all' that displays.  It seems that 'in:all' does not float to let us type easily.  Trying to use the backspace or even the delete key sometimes does not work to get our previous searched word removed to search for something else. I have to actually go to the mouse and click the 'x' to clear the search bar.  This is backward thinking. 

 

This search bar needs to be super flexible and give us the ability to search on anything, since this is and always will be the most efficient way to bring up products. 

 

Whoever is testing and approving these enhancements does not seem to understand how most of us use the system.  Ever since early 2023 when you started changing this area...things have gone downhill. We asked for things to just go back the way they were.   I, for one, use the keyboard more than the mouse.  It seems everything that is developed and installed counts you you using that mouse for everything.  Having to stop what I'm typing ... and having to stop ...  click on an 'x' to clear something ... is disruptive. 

 

I can't even find a place anymore to send something to the design group to get 'help'.  There doesn't seem to be any facility except to come here and vent hoping some Shopify person sees it.  

 

Please....anyone reading this and agreeing with @petgrocer and the rest of us (meaning the people who agreed a year ago to a post) ...like or somehow react to this post.  Maybe that will grab some attention.

It's driving me crazy. Since they don't allow us to run reports based on discount types and total them, we have to manually go through our discounts, by each order, every month. Trying to enter the order numbers in with this new 'all:in' thing is a NIGHTMARE! Shopify makes things harder and harder!
