Featured Collectiom - Choose Products to Display

Hi!

I am using the Dawn free theme and I have a featured collection section in the home page. I have chosen "all products" as the collection to be featured, but it randomly picked 3 products out of them and it seems like i cannot change them. I would like to pick which products are specifically displayed in it - is it possible? Thanks!

Yes you can modify the featured collection code that is built by the theme or make an entirely new theme with the control you want.

Either select products one by one or you can also add code to render products from a specific collection.

Definitely. You need to follow these steps:

1. Log in to your Shopify admin panel.
2. Go to Online Store > Themes.
3. Click on "Customize" next to the Dawn theme.
4. In the theme editor, navigate to the homepage where your featured collection section is located.
5. Click on the "Featured Collection" section to open its settings.
6. Under the "Collection" setting, click "Change" to select the collection you want to feature. (You can choose the specific collection that contains the products you want to display).
7. Adjust the "Maximum products to show" setting to control how many products from the collection are displayed.
8. Click "Save".

This allows you to control which products appear in the featured collection by selecting the appropriate collection and adjusting the display settings.

If it is something that you are not sure you can set up on your own, it is better to cooperate with a Shopify professional.

You mean you have no control over how products are displayed on the home page?

I've now reviewed how a featured collection section displays products on the home page. I've sorted the products in my featured collection by price. Here are my steps:

-Sort the products in your collection (you may need to sort them manually)

- Now the featured collection section shows products as they are sorted in the collection (all products).
