Plug In Hive allows customers to choose the Home Delivery option and pay for it but when I go to print the label it won't give me that option. I see this particular customer is shipping to a suite which is probably the reason I can't ship it Home Deliver.
Shouldn't Plug in Hive filter those and not give the customer that option?
Here again we are going to lose money by having to either reroute through a different carrier or different service through FedEx. The customer wasn't charged enough for shipping.

Plug In Hive should filter out ineligible addresses for Home Delivery to prevent issues like this. Now, we're facing extra costs by needing to reroute or use a different service because the customer wasn't charged enough for shipping.
Hello @alexcareyhales
PluginHive FedEx solution - PH Ship, Rate, and Track app, does offer the FedEx Address validation feature.
To clarify, FedEx carrier itself offers an Address Validation API that automatically classifies an address as commercial or residential based on the street address details. Our app also provides this functionality, as shown in the image below.
Upon enabling this option, FedEx API automatically classifies the address as residential/commercial at checkout and offer the respective shipping rates and services. Please ensure this option is active in your app settings and also the rates displayed at checkout are by PluginHive's FedEx solution.
If the problem persists, please contact our support here and share your store details. We could also arrange a call to with our shipping experts to assist you with the app configuration.
Hello @KarenFaulkner
I understand your concern regarding the discrepancy between the shipping options available at checkout and those when printing the label. Let me clarify a few points:
Request you to verify the Shopify shipping profile configuration by navigating to Shopify Settings -> Shipping & Delivery -> General Shipping Profile -> Shipping Zones -> Add Rate -> Use Carrier (or) App Rates. Ensure you add the appropriate options as highlighted in the provided image.
Should you need any assistance, please feel free to reach out to us here. I would be happy to arrange a call to ensure the app is configured to meet your needs.
Hope this helps!

Here's what we have set up currently.
Is this what it should be set on instead?
Hello @KarenFaulkner
That's right! The "FedEx (Rates from your own account)" option is provided by Shopify, while the "FedEx Rates Service (Rates provided by app)" is offered by the PH Ship, Rate, and Track app.
Please remove the "FedEx (Rates from your own account)" option and add the "FedEx Rates Service (Rates provided by app)" instead. This will ensure that you see consistent rates and services for FedEx during both checkout and label creation.
