Files in Content Library disappeared June 17th - Anyone else have this happen?

On June 17th we had all of the files (thousands) in Content > Files completely disappear. We immediately got on live chat with Shopify support and they basically said we're on our own and that there is no backup system on their end. They have since claimed that the files were deleted in bulk by us, which is absurd. Did anyone else have this problem recently? It seems like Shopify is making changes to how they handle files in the dashboard lately, and it's hard to believe this incident isn't related to that...

same here, the files section literally disappeared from Shopify like how can we get links from images from files I don't want to upload them one by one on the product page, it's very frustrating...

Did it happen the morning of June 17th? We'd love to know if it other shops had the same thing happen at the same time.

As for uploading them again, that's what we had to do. It's taken dozens and dozens of hours of work. Shopify has been no help. Good luck!
