Fire a customer event during checkout for products from a specific vendor

Hi all, I'm looking for a way to fire a custom pixel/GTAG when a product from a specific vendor is in someone's cart at checkout. We have the Shopify Google app integrated sitewide for our products, but would like to fire an event for our vendor when their products are in someone's cart. Is that possible/can someone point me to an example of this?

I've tried using the checkout/order object in "additional scripts" in the past with no luck.

Hi @jfree64 

Order object contains data regarding product id or variant id not about the vendor or type of product.

Now you can write some code to retrieve the product id using order object.

Using product id you can retrieve the vendor information then you can fire your event.
