How to add a pop-up for reel spooling options on my online fishing store?

Hey hey! Our online store sells tons of fishing gear and I get a ton of orders for fishing reels. When a customer buys a reel, they often buy the line separately and then tack on spooling instructions in the comments (while checking out). I was wondering if there were a way to have a pop up come up after they add the reel to their cart (itll have different line types to choose from). I see that one of our competitors has this option but was wondering if it is possible with Shopify?
