Hello. Long story short, I made a shopify store several months ago and had one product for sale that was set up to automatically dropship from autoDS. I forgot about the shopify store for over 3 months. I just logged back into it today and found that I had gotten an order in may. It said it was at risk of high fraud, AutoDS didnt fulfill the item, and there was a chargeback being disputed. It was an honest mistake and I dont want it to penalize me too much and affect my other stores or anything. How do I pay what I need to pay and move on? Will I be ok? Or will my online store career be over!!!! Is this the end?!!
thank you for your information
If you didn’t fulfill the item and the customer got charged, and you didn’t dispute the chargeback with tracking or proof — the customer is likely to win the chargeback.
You’ll be charged a fee (usually around $15–$20) and the order amount will be refunded to the buyer.
Shopify flags these accounts, but one chargeback alone is not enough to ban or destroy your store — especially if it's your first one.
