Fraud acct using my email

Hello. I received a bunch of emails today saying someone set up an account in my name with my email address. I don't have a Shopify acct. I'm logging in with my alt email just to get some help. Who ever did this set up some type of "authenticator" code so I can't logged in to cancel this fake account. Please someone help me. I can't even find an 800 to call Shopify. It looks like they set up some type of banking info too according to the emails that I received. Shopify please provide a way in which I can reach someone to cancel this fake account

If a scammer used your email to sign up, the first step of account registration is email verification. If they don't have access to your email to verify the email (by clicking the link from Shopify), your email should not be linked to the fake account.

How do I get shopify to cancel the fake account? I got several emails that came to my inbox saying an account was set up. I can't reach anyone and there is no number to contact anyone. I can't log into the fake acct to cancel because the person put some type of auth code on it. I only got in here to leave this message with my back up email address. I just want to cancel the fraud acct.

I think my email must have gotten hacked because they set up a store. I have since gone in and changed my email password but there is still a store set up. How do I get it canceled?

You should contact Shopify support - go to https://help.shopify.com/en/

Click "Contact Support" button and raise your request - you should be able to connect to a real person to cancel your store or remove your email.
