Does Shopify force me to buy a shipping label if a customer buys a product with a free shipping discount code?

Shopify doesn’t force you to buy a shipping label if a customer uses a free shipping discount code — it just means the customer won’t pay for shipping, but you can choose whether to buy the label through Shopify or arrange shipping yourself through another carrier.

When a customer uses a free shipping discount code, Shopify does not obligate you to purchase a shipping label.

The code zeros the shipping expenses for the client during checkout although you have to arrange and pay for the real shipping cost.

Control costs by applying tactics such as minimum order thresholds or adjusted pricing.
