All things Shopify and commerce
Hi, it's 7th November 2023 and I've been trying for about 4 hours to sort out my shipping zones. They have been fine up until recently, but now they are all over the place! First of all i was getti g a message at checkout that my product (test purchase) wasn't available to ship to, for example USA, UK, Ireland, Spain - my main territories. Now shipping is available but Free Shipping isn't kicking in. I have reset my shipping zones about 10 times now. What am I doing wrong?
Was an app or any code recently added to your site?
Let us know, thanks.

i removed a couple of instagram apps recently. I also tries to add some code to remove some blocks at the bottom of my page. It didn't work, but maybe i messed up something!! 🙄
Hi, @jackie-diane
Thanks for posting your situation to the Forums. That definitely sounds stressful!
Shipping Settings can be extremely sensitive, so there are many areas you will need to check through to ensure your rates function correctly.
The first area you will want to check is your Shipping Profiles. Most store's only use one General Profile. If you have others, you will want to check each profile to ensure your products are included in at least one profile.
The next area you will want to check is what location hosts your inventory. Once you locate the correct Shipping Profile for your product you will want to ensure the host location has rates set up under your Shipping Profile. This could be an app, or a location you added within Settings > Locations. You can easily check this by opening the designated Shipping Profile and referring to the 'Not Shipping From' list. Ensure that the location that hosts your product is not under this section.
Finally, you will need to ensure you have no gaps in your rates. This would be applicable if you offer weight or priced based shipping. For example, if you have rates for orders between 0-$50 and the next rate is $51-100 - any order that is $50 and X cents, will fall into a gap where no rates are designated. You would correct this by adjusting your second rate to $50-100 threshold.
I understand how confusing this can sound. As such, you may find it worth while to reach out to our live Support Team via the Help Center. They can pull up your Shipping Settings and take a look for themselves to see if there are any issues.
Best of luck!
