Hi

My wife is getting unwanted emails as a store owner. She has never had a store and the billing is for someone in a completely different country. I have had to create an account just to get to this forum.

Shopify support are unable to be contacted as she does not have a store and the support chat says she has to have a store to continue.

Does anyone know how to contact someone to solve this issue.?

Many thanks but to do that I need to install a verification app. Was thinking that might be difficult given that she has never had a store so probably all other security information may not align. I will try to do this anyway. Thanks again.

That sounds frustrating! Here are a couple of ways you can try to contact Shopify to resolve your wife's unwanted emails even though she doesn't have a store:

Community Forums:

  • While the live chat might require a store, the Shopify Community Forums allow anyone to post questions. You can explain the situation there and see if a moderator or another user can offer guidance. Here's the link: Shopify Community
