Gift Cards

We currently use both Shopify and Lightspeed. If we purchase gift cards through Shopify, can they be used in store with Lightspeed.

Unfortunately, Shopify gift cards cannot be used in-store with Lightspeed, as they are typically limited to use within the platform where they were purchased. You may need to explore other options or integrate your systems for cross-platform compatibility if you wish to use gift cards interchangeably.

Thanks for posting to the forums!

Unfortunately, you aren't able to use Shopify Gift Cards with the Lightspeed Gateway. In order to use Shopify Gift Cards in person you will need to use Shopify Hardware as well as Shopify Payments.

Are you currently looking at POS options? If so, our Retail Team would be more than happy to walk you through Shopify's POS system.
