We have enabled gift messages on our items online. However, digital gift cards pose an issue. When someone places an order for a gift card and adds a gift message - it does not get sent to the receiver or the person who completes the order/confirmation email. Essentially, there is no way to get a digital gift message sent. Is there a solution to this issue?
Hi @shoppal48. You can try third-party apps that specialize in gift cards or gift messaging.
The gift message is enabled through a third-party app. Would I need to reach out to the developer?
You simply need to type "gift cards" or "gift messaging" in the search bar of the Shopify App Store and install the most suitable app for your needs.

Check out my app iziGift. We do this seamlessly. You can also enable your users to schedule their gift cards to send to their loved ones on specific days as well.
