All things Shopify and commerce
Hi all, this might be the most basic question in the world so apologies. Ive installed the Globo product options & variants app (a free trial) on my test Shopify site - not live. Ive added some option sets, & then those to products. However although the options show up on the product preview there seems to be zero integration with the actual product otherwise, & I can't create variants either (looks like its because its the free version).
In Shopify admin, on the product, I can only see Shopify options & variants (if I have them) & where I might choose an app to edit the product with (I think its called more, at the top), Globo doesn't show up. So the only way I can edit them on the products is to go down to apps & open Globo. It looks like it's just designed to create new option sets that are then added to products. But my products all use different values from these option sets & it doesn't look like there's a way to edit these ON THE PRODUCT let alone bulk edit them. You either add the option to a product or take it off, complete with all values.
What am I missing? It looks like my free version is restricted - but is there any integration with products once it's paid for? Is it designed to replace ALL options including Shopify ones?
Did you ever figure this out? I downloaded the app and I can't even get their chat now feature to work. I've emailed them and no response. I can't even get the variants or elements that I customized to show up under the product I selected.
Hi no I didn't, & in fact other options apps don't show in the product more options menus. Its just so disheartening - no way an I going to get my web admin person to go through the app to create options every time. They are used to adding products & options all at the same time, in the same place. I actually detest the back end of Shopify. It's clunky & difficult.
