Google Adwords Conversions is way too high on their platform

Heya All

we run a site promoting toys and we market in South Africa on Facebook and Google

I have the normal admin apps running and while my conversions on FB tracks well enough, the conversions in Google adwords is really wrong

Ie> adwords is showing too many conversions - I would estimate x10 more than actual sales - which pushes up conversion value and generally gives back bad data as a result

any help with similar scenarios would be appreciated

So, in short - conversions track - but in adwords there is too many as opposed to actual sales

This is usually caused if the GTAG script is added multiple times. I recommend checking both your theme and settings > checkout > additional scripts for any duplication.
