All things Shopify and commerce
If you go onto Google and do a search for pickleball shirts, our collection pops up (eventually) and that's great. But for all of our Google results, for collection pages, Google is displaying three of the same designs, just different variants of that design. This is a Google search result on mobile, for clarification.
I think it looks pretty crappy to have 3 of the same designs featured. We'd love to see 3 different designs to catch people's eyes when they're searching.
We use TinyIMG and have use the Enterprise theme.
Overall, we have some experience running Shopify stores and optimizing websites (10+ years), but have not encountered this issue before.
Can anyone shed some light on this and help us figure out what the issue might be?
Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Hi @teeshopusa, thanks for reaching out and sharing your concern.
I have reviewed your case and here’s some of my insight into the issue:
First of all, the reason Google is showing three variants of the same design in search results is likely due to missing structured data on your collection pages. Without this structured data, Google cannot fully understand the structure of your collection and is defaulting to displaying the first three items it encounters, which happen to be product variants.
To resolve this, you’ll need to add structured data in the form of an ItemList schema to your collection pages. This schema helps Google better understand the structure of your collection and enables it to display more diverse products in search results. You can access Google’s guide on structured data for carousels via this link: Google Structured Data Guide for Carousels
Moreover, since you’re already using TinyIMG, I suggest reaching out to their support team to check if they can assist with setting up the ItemList schema for your collection pages.
Alternatively, you can add the schema manually. This image is the code example, so you can either use the TinyIMG app or code it yourself.
I hope my information is helpful to you.
