Google Merchant Centre Suspension Website or online shop needs improvement

Hi all,

 

My google merchant centre account has revieved a suspension due to 'Website or online shop needs improvement'. Can I please get any advice on how to fix my website (thebargallery.com.au)? It was working for a couple of days before being suspended. Note that the account was previously suspended for misrepresentation although this was resolved. Not sure if that helps with adding some context.

While you may have a lot of issues, the main one will be that yo ustate the following: 

 

As soon as you place your order you will receive an order confirmation e-mail. This means that we have received your order in our system and pre-authorised your credit card for the purchase. You will NOT be charged until we have confirmed that your order is in stock and available for shipment.

As soon as we receive your order we automatically check to confirm that your order is in stock and available for shipment. 

 

Google requires all items listed to be stocked, as you say it is not, then this is not an acceptable business. Reference: https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/6150127#:~:text=Unavailable%20promotions

 

But as mentioned you will have more issues, but this is a fundamental one.

Hi there,

 

Thankyou for this, I appreciate the quick response. Just so I am clear, should I put all out off stock products to 'draft' on my website so that they are not listed? What are the other issues you have located if you dont mind me asking?

Products that are not in stock, should be removed from the website, and data feed.

 

Checking a site, takes an extensive amount of time, not something I can do as a volunteer here on the community.

No problem I will get onto this asap. Okay sounds good, I was just referring to where you said 'But as mentioned you will have more issues' as I interpreted this as you having picked up a few other issues on the site during your review. If there were any others feel free to share.
