Google Merchant suspension - misrepresentation

Hi all,

Pulling my hair out because I cant figure out what the problem is with my google Merchant account.

I have been suspended for 'misrepresentation' with the error message:

"Show at least one of the following contact methods on your online store: business address, phone number, email, contact form, social media business profile. Also add your business address and phone number on the "Business information" page in Merchant Center."

I have read similar posts and hate how difficult it is to work out what the actual problem is, I'd be grateful for any advice.

Things I have tried

- Removing all promotions

- Adding verified mobile number to contact page

- Consolidating policies into single footer menu

My business address has always matched my google account, and I am registered and operating solely in the UK.

Is it because my product is considered medical for some reason? Is it because I am using a registered business address provided by a registration company that is not my physical home address (which is where I operate from)?

It would be really helpful to get some advice if possible

Website is www.mannox.co.uk

Thanks

This is an accepted solution.

Currently, no business exists on the given address. Make sure to verify and claim your business using Google Business Profile.

And make sure your Government issues document have the same info.

Also make sure to have a contact link in the footer of all pages.

Missing shipping policy in the footer.

I recommend checking this checklist: https://community.shopify.com/c/Ecommerce-Marketing/Checklist-Suspended-Google-Merchant-Center-Accou...

Hi @Mannox

Just checked your store and see that you are not showing any contact information at the footer https://take.ms/TPybR

so please add at least 1 info as their requirements to your footer right after store address so Google can fetch your information at any pages, not only in the contact page.

1. The most common reason is your contact us page You definitely need one in your both footer and header that contains a physical address, phone number, and an email address for the physical address, you can use your office address if you have one or your home address. and if you don’t want to do that, and for the phone number, you can use your personal, but obviously, you don’t want to, so you can get a virtual phone number as well. But remember when you are filling out this information on your contact use page, you need to keep it consistent in your google merchant center when you are filling out the business info 2. Legal Pages: - Privacy Policy - Billing Terms and Conditions - Secure Checkout Page - FAQs - Shipping Policy (need to add more details) - Terms of Services (need to change contents) - Return and Refund Policy (need to add more details, like days, state of return, the reason for return, process of return and refund, contact details, etc.) 3. Other Pages: - Contact Us (Show Contact Address, Email, and phone number, support available time, contact us form) - About Us page (Show company details, aims, and objectives, why should a customer choose you, year of establishment, and email) 4. Product landing page : - Do not copy contents like product images, titles, or descriptions exact from any source - Show your name as Brand name 5. Make sure the check-out process is secure and safe - Show all the payment methods shown in the footer while check-out - Make sure the shipping charges and taxes are the same as mentioned on the policy pages 6. Google Merchant Center Changes - Create Shipping with the same Handling time, Transit time, and Shipping charges, as mentioned in the store - Create Sales tax, if applicable - verify your business information and phone number 7. Other Possible Reasons: Basically, anything that looks shady So, it means we don’t want a messy general store with a broken theme and blank images, unrealistic claims, etc Bad and sketchy name or logo: you should make it simple and clean, and definitely, try using a nice name for the store and domain Pricing and fake promotions: Do not use any compared prices if they are not real, especially for every single product also if you are promoting a deal or a coupon code make sure it’s working properly and you definitely don’t want to run ads for out of stock items Low-quality images: try not to copy the exact images from the source website, like Aliexpress. So either you can take it yourself or use applications like Canva to make it look different Fake reviews : It is better to not import reviews from Ali express, especially anything which is not in English or looks spammy Trust badges Try not to overuse them and don’t even use them if they are not true The same thing goes for the fake countdowns you don't use them as well, if they are not real

Can you check out this store? I created it late and didn't have a Google Merchant Center account. I want to make sure that the store meets all policies, then open a business account on Google
