Solved

Google says I need MPN but I already added them.

I have added the MPN information in to almost all of my products. When I check my Google channel it says they still need to be added. When I open the item in the Google channel it shows they are already present in the MPN field. I am totally confused. I don't have the box checked for them being a custom product because they are not. I used the actual number that I use to purchase them from the manufacturer. I do not have a GTIN number filled in in that field.

HELP!!!!

Thanks for your input. When going into the Merchant center I was able to fix the MPN by drilling down to it and updating it. The items still show up as having the MPN missing in the Shopify/Google shopping app in my store, but in the Merchant center it shows them as correct after I updated them there. There must be a problem with the app that prevents them from showing up correctly. Maybe this will get resolved when Google officially takes over the app from Shopify

Best way to diagnose the errors is to log into Google Merchant, go to the menu, click on Products > Diagnostics to see the detailed listed item/feed/account issues. In the Google channel app, the errors are not listed in details so it's difficult to figure out what's wrong.
