Hello,
We're a shopify shop too. We reported this on a shopify ticket and we got a response back. We'll share it with you all here.
Shopify noted for the concern around the https://<shop_address>/.well-known/shopify/monorail/unstable/produce_batch URL, this is a backend endpoint utilized by Shopify's system, and is definitely not anything nefarious. A short while ago, this endpoint suddenly started being indexed by Google, likely an unintended update side effect. Merchants were seeing errors in Google Search Console in regards to this endpoint, as Google was having trouble indexing it. Our developers were notified, and a fix is in the works to prevent the indexing. Shopify is 100% certain right now is that this is a Shopify endpoint, and that no data has been leaked, or privacy breached by Google being able to index it.
Finally, Shopify noted that last night a fix was just pushed live by Shopify at about 11:30pm EST, but it will take a day or two before we can verify the results from Google.
So it would appear this issue is only cosmetic and should be gone even cosmetically soon.
Hope that helps,
Dan

So we just got an update that the original fix (from last night) did not resolve the issue, but an additional fix has already been pushed. Per Shopify's developers:
[PR-XXXX] was merged and we anticipate the problem will be resolved. No action is required from merchants as these updates will instruct google search crawler to ignore any addresses to Monorail paths. If anyone is exposed to these paths, they will continue to receive status 404/405.
So it looks like the messages will continue a little while longer, but should stop soon.
Noticed the same on 11 December 2022.
Google Search Console has identified that your site is affected by 1 Page indexing issue(s). The following issues were found on your site. We recommend that you fix these issues when possible to enable the best experience and coverage in Google Search.
/.well-known/shopify/monorail/unstable/produce_batch
Same here on my store.
Definitely something weird going on with Shopify, we're seeing this issue on every Shopify client's GSC account starting on Dec 10.
This is what this resource is for, although it's not supposed to generate a resource on our domain like it is doing now.
As per back end this is a normal part of a Shopify store. It helps run Shopify Analytics, and it should not cause any problems for page speed (the calls it makes are very tiny). This is for conducting tests on stores with various tools, including Chrome inspector tools, multiple calls to something called "produce" or https://monorail-edge.shopifysvc.com/v1/produce
Same issue here for 2 sites so far. Hope we get an update from Shopify soon!
Que faut-il faire ?
+ 1
Same issue this morning on two sites, potential phishing?
Same here for a client +1
Same issue here for two separate Shopify clients this morning. Hope someone from @Shopify can advise
same here
Same issue, looking forward to update.
I have the same issue.
Same. Following..
Same - not sure what this is.
Same. Got this notice across multiple sites this weekend.
Same here, Shopify please advise!
Same here x2
same here
Same here.
What should we do ?
We just identified the same issue on our site.
We just opened a ticket with Shopify Plus.
Does anyone else here have an open Shopify Ticket on this issue?
Got the same back on Dec 10. Before looking here for insight, traced it back to not being blocked in robots.txt (was it before?).
Hoping with so many having the same issue, they'll automagically fix it for us all.
Will monitor.
just a follow up... submitted for Validate Fix on 12/14/22 (after seeing here that's what others were doing)... finally on 1/7/23 three and a half weeks later got a confirmation that "Page indexing issues successfully fixed for site"
Have the same problem too. Would be good if anyone gets to the bottom of this. One thing that is funny is seeing the comments when you inspect the page and go to style editor:
* NOTE(emilio): For some reason some pages, mainly bing.com, load a bunch of
* scripts in zero-size <object> elements, see bug 1548449.
*
* Line-breaking such documents is useless and pretty expensive, so only render
* them if there's a viewport. Sigh.
Also the same issue today.
Same issue for my website, hopefully it will be fixed on Shopify's end
Same here, never seen it before.
Same here on 12/14th.
Shopify please provide some sort of answer?
I've just been in touch with support and they confirmed this URL is linked to their analytics and sometimes the google bots flag it. She said it does not cause harm to our website - so to validate fix and it should resolve itself.

Google Ads has disapproved my ads for this same reason claiming:
Google Ads support said these URL's need to be removed:
/.well-known/shopify/monorail/unstable/produce_batch
/.well-known/shopify/monorail/v1/produce
Interesting as I've just discovered it now in search console for my store so they haven't changed anything. It's still showing as a google error
Same here.
I too can confirm this problem is NOT solved as I am having direct access issues with /.well-known/shopify/monorail/unstable/produce_batch and /Liquid with appears to be a script.
In addition the IPs are fake and the traced source shows them out of the country.
ALL of this points to direct interference from bad Actors trying to twart the effectiveness of the website in some manner:
either Reduction of speed, reducing access to the prodcuts, causing 404's and perhaps all with the intention of reducing the Page Authority for rankings as this traffic is all ending up in Google Analytics.
Bottom line: This is intentional and Mal intented Traffic.
This is not just a Technical Glitch in the structure of the Shopify Store code.
We Need PROTECTION by Shopify and their Technical Support ATTENTION to this matter.
HOW do we get them to be serious and elevate these issues?
True, I have the same problem.
Noticed just now. Is any fix foreseen?
Having the same issue currently, with Google ads and Google company profile doesn't accept my link anymore.
Google support said this to me by chat:
"Post checking your website URL, I have found 3 malicious links. These are:
1. well-known/shopify/monorail/unstable/produce_batch
2. well-known/shopify/monorail/v1/produce
3. cart?t=1674089979565&view=ajax"
They are now going to take it to a dedicated team within Google, and I get response from them within 24-48 hours.
Same problem here, Google Ads thinks the site is malicious, but in Search Console or Transparencyreport no problems
/.well-known/shopify/monorail/unstable/produce_batch
/.well-known/shopify/monorail/v1/produce
Please Shopify resolve this problem!
This Problem seems to have resurfaced. Been experiencing this issue for a couple months. Can't get anything from Shopify about it. No one is offering any suggestions on here. I have been fighting to get my Google ads account approved for months and I believe this is the cause. Really wish Shopify would get on the ball fixing this or someone would offer a solution. I am going to have to close the doors if this isn't fixed soon.
Hello, Google has indexed this url for me too, even its included on robots to not get indexed.
Whats going on?
