This is an accepted solution.
@JiaJie Go to Online Store > Live them drop-down > Edit Code > Left side panel open theme.liquid file and find for "<body" tag you will find the body tag after the </head> tag ends and then you can paste your GTM tag code there. <body> tag is required tag for the any website without it your store will show blank white page there will be no content.

Hello Saim, thanks much for your answer. It solved my issue.I did find a <body in the code, thanks!
Btw Saim,do you happen to know that how to upload and publish a software larger than 20M on shopify? The software we need to publish is almost 150M, larger than 20M.Thanks!
@JiaJie Which format file you want to upload?
Hello Saim,
It's a software for computer, we need to upload and publish the software to our website for our customers from all over the world to download. But Shopify only supports the file upload of no more than 20M, our software is 150M...and cannot be compressed...
We tried third-party cloud storage like google file. But google drive is not available in China. We also need it's downloadable for Chinese market.
So i'm kind of stuck here,i would like to know if there is any other way to upload the file to Shopify not some third-party website? Thanks!
Hi @JiaJie , You can upload your software in Edit Code > Asset tab > Add a new asset for more reference check below screenshot
