Google verification code shown at the top of my website

Google verification code is viewable at the top of my website. I did a community search and saw that at number of people have had this problem. However, instructions on it's removal isn't that intuitive. Hoping someone can help with this. Note, someone responded to my initial msg but it appears that it was taken down...

If you go over to your theme.liquid file, do you see any lines of code that would print out the Google verification code? If so, not sure if you should delete it, but you can simply assign it with

display: none;
