Has anyone else had issues with Babeboutique orders?

My daughter ordered from babeboutique one month ago.

Checked out with shopify.

Now the link to shopify and the store have vanished and no replies to emails

Any suggestions how I can help please? She's autistic and trusts websites will be genuine.

There doesn't seem to be any contact details on the site. They do link to their Facebook and Instagram pages though, so you could try messaging them from there. 


Otherwise, if it's been over a month and you haven't received your product and no responses to your emails, then your best bet is to file a chargeback with your credit card company. 


As far as your daughter trusting all websites goes ... I'm not sure how old she is, but if she's young then you - as a parent - are responsible for her purchases online. It would be best to have her ask for your permission before purchasing things (don't just give her your credit card to use), and then you can place the orders for her (you can also do some of your own research on the sites she's visiting + products she's buying). 


Babeboutique doesn't have any reviews or contact details when you Google it ... so I probably wouldn't recommend purchasing from them. That's a general rule for all online purchases (not just with Shopify stores) ... if you don't have contact details for who you're purchasing from, and you don't know if they're reputable, then you're really 'rolling the dice' by purchasing from them. That's not to say that they (or other businesses) are a scam, but you're best off purchasing from websites and companies that you know are reputable and offer customer service if any issues arise.
