Has the compare price option been removed from Shopify?

Hi,

I no longer see Compare price option, the product I did last still show up with the Compare price in the Store, but I can't change it to other products. Has shopify removed this option?

Hi, @Karlis. I'm happy to help you out with this! I just have a couple of questions to make sure I have the full context and that I'm giving you helpful advice going forward.

• Do you mean that you can't see the compare-at price on your storefront or that you can't see the compare-at price setting in your Shopify admin?
• It sounds like you were able to set up a compare-at price on products recently. When did you first notice the option missing?
• Do you use Shopify Markets? If so, is your primary market in Europe or elsewhere?

The compare-at price setting is still available in the Shopify admin. You can reach it by going to Products in your Shopify admin and selecting the product you want to edit. From there, you will find it under the Pricing section. You can also find the compare-at price setting by using the product bulk editor. The following guides can help:

There are some cases where a compare-at price may be hidden from the storefront, but it would depend on where your business operates and how your account is set up. You can learn more about this here.

The compare-at price setting is still available in the Shopify admin. You can reach it by going to Products in your Shopify admin and selecting the product you want to edit. From there, you will find it under the Pricing section. You can also find the compare-at price setting by using the product bulk editor. Let me know if your able to find it!

You can set a compare-at price value for a product with a single option from the product details page of your Shopify admin, or bulk edit multiple products.

Please follow the instructions listed in our help doc here for further guidance. 

It's important to note that Fixed prices will override prices and compare-at prices set in your Shopify admin. If you want to create fixed sale prices for products in your international markets, then you can do so by importing prices using a CSV file.

Hopefully you have the answer by now, however, here goes.  As you have a price variants on your product ( one black and one silver) you have to click on the variant to be able to see the compare at price...

I also no longer see the compare at pricing column either and so my products are always showing as if they are on sale. I've followed all the suggestions above and it still doesn't work.

The only place I found compare-at (and the sales tax checkbox) was in the bulk editing, had to select 'columns' to edit, manually add the column for compare-at. That would get old fast, having to click through that on every product.
