Having a nightmare with Shopify "Support". Need help getting my site online.

I am attempting to point my domain to my store.

 

The domain was once used on a previous Shopify store, but was disconnected before attempting to add it to the new store. 

 

After connecting the domain from GoDaddy to Shopify, the error "(example).com couldn't be connected because the store is frozen." is shown.

 

It was suggested that the previous store might need to be fully wiped from Shopify as there may be history of the domain still lingering there - however during this back and forth, that store has now been locked by Shopify for no reason, so i now have two accounts where I am trying to get a resolution.

 

This has been escalated 5 times in over a week and has still not been responded to or resolved, meaning I cannot get my site online and cannot sell product.

 

Grateful for any suggestions as I have paid over £200 for the annual fee, and Shopify are preventing me from using my website and offering no support.
