Help: ad-to-cart sends directly to checkout

Hey, when people click ad-to-cart on my store, it immediately sends them to checkout. I'd rather send them to their cart first, but I'm not sure how to do that. I do not remember intentionally changing it to send people direct to checkout, but of course forgetfullness cannot be excluded.
