Help! Product variant is not working properly

Hi ! I'm using the pipeline 5.0.0 theme and my variant doesn't work properly. When choosing a color... it add to cart the first variant enter in my back end. not the one selected. 

I know its probably a problem in the product liquid file but I don't understand a thing about all this coding so please help !

This definitley seems like some sort of bug, either with the theme itself or possibly within the code in the liquid file you mentioned. Have you made any recent changes to the theme code that could explain this? I tested that example product you linked, and I can confirm I am also seeing the same behaviour; the selected variant doesn't get added to cart, and only the 'Jet Black' one does.

Depending on the level of customisation you have done with this theme, it might be possible for the theme developers to provide you with support to fix this. I would recommend reaching out to the theme developers to ask them, and explain to them what you have explained here. This can be done by navigating to your theme editor in Online Store > Themes > Customise then click the 3 dots in the top left, and choose Get Support. That will put you in direct contact with them. Alternatively if you purchased the theme from the Shopify Theme Store then Shopify Support would be happy to help you contact them via email on your behalf, and copy you in to receive updates. Click here to contact Shopify Support.

I found some documentation from the theme developers all about the Color Swatches that you can check out. You might be able to use that as a guide and find something in the settings that could help. Also, from what I can tell Pipeline version 6.1.1 has been released, so it might be a good time to consider updating your 5.0.0 version of the theme, if you feel the newer version has features that would benefit you? There is a bit of work involved in this, but we have some helpful documentation here that you can check out. Let me know if this helps!
