Hi everyone,
I’ve set up my Shopify store to sell in multiple markets, each with a different currency. In my main store market, I’ve been able to show strikethrough prices with a discount percentage, which looks great. However, I’ve adjusted the pricing for another country (offering slightly lower prices) by changing the currency under the Markets option.
The issue is that I’m unable to display the discount format (strikethrough + percentage off) in this new market as I do in the main market.
Does anyone know how I can make the discount format consistent across all markets? Any advice or settings I might be missing would be really appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
Hi Ibrahim,
You need to go to Setings -> Markets -> Select your other market currency and click on "Products and pricing".
Then click on "Manage exchange rates" and choose Manual. Set an exchange rate that suits you well, based perhaps on historical averages like those mentioned in past experiences. By doing this, you can set fixed price discounts for products by calculating them yourself, ensuring a consistent strikethrough discount format across all markets
I don't get the option for "Manage exchange rates".
