Hide or Cross out unavailable product variants

Hi

I have a range of variants to add on products like this.

I am using the refresh theme and was just wondering if there was a way to hide or ideally just grey out/cross out product variants that are unavailable? I don't mind if they are just sold out but when they are actually unavailable i don't want customers clicking on them.

I'm guessing it would be some coding in the product main-product.liquid But i'm not sure.

If someone could provide the code to make that happen, that would be great.
