How can I activate physical gift cards on my online store?

Hello,

I have digital gift cards for sale on my online store.  I also purchased physical gift cards via shopify hardware store to sell in person at our brick and mortar store.   I keep reading posts that say I need to active both physical and digital but I'm not seeing that on my end.  I tried this...

1. Go to Shopify panel -> Settings -> "Gift Cards"
2. Scroll down to the "Physical gift cards" section and click "Enable".

The issue is that I don't see anything that references physical gift cards.  From the POS setting it says I don't have any active gift cards, even though I have active digital card products on my website.

I simply don't see anywhere to enable physical gift cards in the Admin or POS!

I am having the exact problem. We are very new to this, ordered the gift cards but cannot find where it says to enable physical gift cards. I feel like I'm going crazy.

For all those wondering, the option is in the Shopify POS app, not on the Shopify admin.

SAME!!! We have been spending WEEKS trying to figure this out and it is costing us $$$$ Not only is it nearly impossible to add the gift cards ( we have to create a new gift card with each one we sell, by entering in the code on the back and saving it in the POS THEN ringing it up - so super crazy and TIME CONSUMING but now we can't refund to a gift card on an exchange because it doesn't give that option... even though shopify says to toggle on "return to a gift card" there isn't a way to do it.  

I'm regretting my decision to use shopify with my new business.  Absolutely crazy that you can't get support from anyone.  I feel like I have a case to file against them for all of the money I'm losing.

If you are not seeing where to enable this; log out of the POS App and log back in.  It should then be in the Gift Card area of settings.  Very strange but it did work for me.

Thank you for your reply.  we tried this and it didn't work.  The ONLY thing we have found is that we can install an app called Rise that will issue a store credit via email ... I guess maybe they just want us to continue to add apps and get more $$ from us each month.
